- Excellence Scholarship for Foreigners: Intended for foreign students who do not reside in Chile, have an excellent academic record, and have been accepted into a doctoral program at the University of Santiago, Chile. (This scholarship requires, among other requirements, the submission of a document certifying the application for the ANID National Doctoral Scholarship or another scholarship external to the University of Santiago, Chile.)
- Doctoral Grant: Aimed at Chilean and foreign students residing in Chile, this scholarship provides funding for annual tuition fees (tuition waiver scholarship), as well as a sum of money for the personal expenses of scholarship recipients (maintenance scholarship), without taking into account the cost of semester enrollment fees for the program. (This scholarship requires, among other requirements, the submission of a document certifying the application for the ANID National Doctoral Scholarship or another scholarship external to the University of Santiago, Chile.)
- Research Support Grant: It consists of financial support (up to US $ 1,500) for graduate students to participate in external congresses, symposia, courses, or seminars, or equivalent activities that are significant for their academic training.
- Scholarship for University of Santiago, Chile employees: Reduction of 50% of the annual fee for the postgraduate program and in the payment of the basic semester fee (tuition). This scholarship is awarded in accordance with the administration and availability of each program. One requirement is to be an employee of the University of Santiago de Chile, whether academic or administrative.
- USACH ex-student scholarship: The fee reduction is aimed at graduates (former students) who certify the completion of undergraduate studies at the University of Santiago, Chile. The existence of quotas for these scholarships should be consulted in each Program Secretariat.
- Department scholarships: Based on available funding, the Departments assign several types of scholarships to their students to support their enrollment and research. These include international and national moving grants for both national and international students moving to Santiago, travel grants for presentations at national and international conferences, and operating-cost grants for purchasing computers, lab supplies, and other research-related needs.
